HVAC Technician
A vacancy has arisen for the post of HVAC Technician for duties within the Company's Support Services Department. Reporting to the Technical Services Officer, within the Support Services Department, the successful candidate will be required to carry out HVAC works on new installations and perform maintenance on existing installations found within the Company`s commercial and industrial facilities.
The main duties associated with this role include but are not limited to :
1. Fault finding within the existing Air Conditioning Systems on both single standard units (High Wall & Cassette Type) & other VRF AC systems.
2. Installation & Dismantling of Units as neccessarry.
3. Planning and executing Regular Service Schedules, and keeping supporting records .
4. Periodically Testing to ensure that Air Cconditions and other related systems remain in good working order .
5. Any other duty required.
Applicants as a minimum shall:
• hold appropriate HVAC Certification;
• have previous experience in this field;
• have good knowledge of Freon Gases;
• be capable of supporting electrical work when necessary.
• have a clean disciplinary record;
• be in possession of a clean car driving license and a clean police conduct certificate.
The appointment is subject to a 12-month probationary period. Working hours are presently Monday to Saturday from 07:00 hrs to 14:15hrs with a 30 minute break allowed.
