Senior Creative Designer

A vacancy has arisen for the post of Creative Designer for duties within the Company's Creative Studio. The role reports to the Marketing Officer. The Creative Designer should be a strong communicator who thinks creatively, is detail-oriented and is able to meet deadlines.

The main responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to:

• creating designs and digital experiences that will engage the audience as well as drive growth for the group's various brands;
• performing digital and online techniques and analysis;
• pursuing specific goals in lead generation, communication, brand building and conversion;
• production of high-quality videos;
• owning, maintaining and ensuring the consistent execution of brand guidelines;
• supporting sections in the design and creation of all design work;
• liaising with the Purchasing Department, particularly those related to the creation of marketing collateral and philatelic items, to ensure the proper execution of design work;
• coordinating all advertising activities including advance publicity, invitations, signage, collateral, promotional materials, reports, company forms, notices and other.
• ensuring that all deadlines are consistently met.

Applicants shall:

• have a minimum of 5 ordinary level passes which should include English and Maltese 
• have a master of Adobe CC, especially Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere Pro & After Effects;
• be able to use a professional camera and a general knowledge of lighting techniques in order to create professional videos.
• be able to create interactive forms with Adobe Acrobat;
• possess a solid grounding in the principles of graphic design;
• be naturally creative and passionate about high quality design;
• possess working knowledge of online and offline media activities;
• hold an ECDL qualification or equivalent;
• demonstrate self-motivation and a willingness to work on their own initiative;
• have strong communication (written and verbal) skills in Maltese and English;
• be able to prioritise and work under pressure without compromising quality;
• have an excellent understanding of composition and typography;
• be fluent in WordPress and HTML coding is considered an asset.
